WIN is not permitted to capture deer over 30 lbs., bear, adult otters, fishers, bobcats, or venomous snakes. Locate your regional Pennsylvania Game Commission at pgc.pa.gov for mammals listed, and your regional Fish and Boat regional office at fishandboat.com, or the Venom Institute & Reptile Rescue, 484-525-3512, venominstitute@gmail.com, for venomous snakes.
For all other birds and mammals, call Wildlife In Need at 814-414-4224
Our hours of operation are 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. After hours, leave a message, and a dispatcher will return your call in the morning. Then, sign on to www.rescuingwildlife.com, Under "Wildlife Emergencies," obtain instructions on what to with the mammal or bird.
